Prague Pension Merlin
Merlin is a guest house with familial atmosphere located close the historical centre - between the Charles Square and the embankment of the Vltava river. It is situated nearby the "Dancing House" - an interesting modern building designed by architect Vlado Milunic, which you can see on the photo below. The underground station "Karlovo namesti" (Charles Square) is 300 metres and the National Theatre is 700 metres from the guest house.
The rooms no. 501-505 are located on the fifth floor, which was completely reconstructed. All these rooms are equipped with new ensuite bathrooms and furnished with tasteful furniture. Part of rooms offer a view over the Prague Castle panorama. For the present there is no elevator in the house.
The rooms no.201-403 are located on the 2nd-4th floor. A half of these rooms has ensuite bathrooms, second half has private bathrooms on the corridor (beside the room). On each floor there is a refrigerator and an electric kettle with crockery at disposal of our guests.
The suite no. 103 with kitchen and ensuite bathroom is located on the first floor.
On the same floor are also two large rooms no.101 & 102, each for 3-4 persons, sharing one common bathroom and toilet on the corridor.
Two of the new rooms, refurbished in 2004, no.006 located on the ground floor and no.507 located on the fifth floor.
On the ground floor is also located Highland Restaurant offering meals of Czech and International cuisine which uses ecological meat and a great selection of wines. The breakfasts are also served in the restaurant from 8.30 to 10.15 a.m. When the weather is fine you can enjoy sitting in our garden. An Internet Café is located just accross the street.
Parking is possible in the street free of charge or in nearby Vaclavske garages - 200 metres from the guest house (it cost 400 CZK per day).
