We would like to welcome you warmly to the Mejstrik Hotel, which is located in the vicinity of the historical, commercial and social center of Prague. Hotel Mejstrik (originally called Hotel Esprit) was established in 1924. The Art-Deco style being used for furnishing makes the comfort of a small and elegant hotel. Restaurant D'Esprit and Bistrot D'Esprit offer you the chance to try a number of specialities from international and Bohemian cuisine.
The Mejstrik hotel(originally called the Hotel Esprit) was established in 1924 by the current owners father. A complete renovation of the Hotel, to provide all the comforts of a four-star hotel, began in 1998 and was completed in January 2000. The Art-Deco style of the interior decoration creates the comfortable atmosphere of a small elegant hotel with a unique position, close to the historical centre of Prague.
The hotel has 27 double rooms, 1 apartment Suite d´Esprit and 1 Junior Suite. Every room comes with on en suite bathroom, WC, mini-bar, TV with satellite programm, direct dial telephone and connections for fax and Internet.
The air-conditioned conference room on the fifth floor is equipped with modern equipment seats 14 around a massive conference table.
Our outside terrace offers a splendid view of Hradcany and St. James' Church.
The Bistrot D´Esprit, part of which is the “Chapel„ with is original Gothic vaulting, offers a buffet with a generous range of breakfast dishes in the morning and later on selected grilled specialities a salad bar and traditional Czech foods. Our neighbouring garden creates a peaceful and homely atmosphere.
In the pleasant surroundings of the Restaurant D´Esprit(36 seats) you will certainly forget your everyday troubles. Traditional Czech cuisine is combined with classical and contemporary international cuisine and a large selection of French and Moravian wines at a wide range of prices.

The hotel has 27 double rooms available (3 of them are TWINS), one Suite D'Esprit and one Junior Suite. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom containing a bath or shower unit, WC, hair dryer, mini-bar, colour satellite TV, telephone with the option of direct dialing, fax and Internet connection.
The hotel offers a range of secretarial services, including ticket reservation. Guest can avail of the Lobby Bar on the entrance hallway, laundry services, and safety deposit boxes at reception 24 hour a day. We offer transport using the hotel Taxi service for a fixed price.
Sit in comfort:
A restaurant with a capacity of 36 places where one can sit in comfort and forget about the worries of the working day. Traditional Czech and international cuisine are combined here to favourable effect. In addition to quality food, a wide range of wine is also available, including select Maravian wines from the “Mokry sklep—Saldorf„ cellar and French wines from world-renowned vintners such as G.Duboef and Louis Jadot.
Upon entering the restaurant via an aperitif bar, which offers a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, the atmosphere of the 1930s will wash over you. Restaurant D´Esprit has been furnished in an Art Deco style. The pleasant and engaging impression created is complemented by quality service combined with traditional Czech gastronomy, which is well-known throughout the world.
Restaurant D´Esprit is open daily from 12.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m.
Enjoy a cup of coffee:
With capacity of 30 places, this bistro allows one to sit in comfort all through the day. From 7.00 a.m. onwards you can have breakfast or simply sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. Throughout the day, we offer traditional Czech food as well as meals prepared on grill with a selection of fresh vegetables and fruit salads.
We can also offer a wide range of beverages and draught “Budejovicky Budvar„ beer. An open-air garden seating 56 guests is open from spring to autumn, which helps make it even more enjoyable to while away the day in the center of Prague.
Bistrot D´Esprit is open daily from 7.00 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.
